Local Exposure

Mural Arts Art Education is entering its second year of a new program that centralizes student voice in its curatorial framework. Students and teaching artists select new artists to work with each session and invite them into their classrooms for workshops. These light touch visits are meant for students and artists to get acquainted with each other to better inform a full fledged project proposal in the future. It also provides artists from all disciplines and backgrounds invaluable teaching experience and helps support the authentic co-creation of collaborative artwork with young people. Our Local Exposure Program helps more new and emerging artists engage with our young people on the public platform.
