RFP: Fall 2021/Winter 2022 Take Us to the River Residency 


Mural Arts Philadelphia and the Riverfront North Partnership are seeking artists to apply for their Fall 2021 / Winter 2022 artist residency. 

The goal of this artist residency is to engage both the Middle and Lower Northeast communities with the changing Delaware Riverfront while also bringing awareness of the greater environmental issues and diverse history (including the Lenni Lenape origins) of the Delaware River, specifically in the vicinity of Lardner’s Point Park.  Resident artist/s will be responsible for planning and leading collaborative creative activities that lead to the creation of a public art work. 

The residency will will run for 10 weeks from November/December, 2021 until March/April 2022, and will be based at Lardner’s Point and at MAP’s Tacony LAB Community Art Center, where the artist/s selected for the residency will have access to the Tacony LAB studio space for both personal practice and project creation.
