Magic Hour by artist Brad Carney and poet by Ursula Rucker was created to reflect personal moments and shared feelings from community experiences during magic hour. Celebrate the close-out of this multi-year community-driven mural, with a depiction of people gathering at dusk to meet, engage, dream, and dance together. Magic Hour is part of The Rail Line Underpass Enhancement Project, which originally included three sites (completed in 2020) and was expanded to include Berks as a fourth site. The project is funded by the Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Division of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is a lead partner in implementing the grant.
