About the Project

Welcome to Mural Arts’ first outdoor rotating gallery. The Callowhill North area, a post-industrial neighborhood, has provided an amazing canvas for artists to dream big and to infuse its many untouched walls with boundless imagination.

The inaugural participating artists from this collaboration between Mural Arts and Arts + Crafts Holdings, curated by Ryan Strand Greenberg hail from Philadelphia and around the world, and represent a new wave of emerging talent: Matt Moore, Kid Hazo, Ryan Beck, Miriam Singer, Andrew Jeffrey Wright, Hawk Krall, and Martha Rich.

This series was accompanied by an indoor exhibition at 990 Spring Garden Street in the Fall of 2016.

Permanent murals by Charles Burwell, Jessie & Katey, Jim Houser, and more have joined the collection since 2016. Keep an eye out for new and exciting work in the future.
