Jihan A. Thomas

Jihan A. Thomas is a Black visual artist, artivist, mother and community and museum arts educator located in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has over 16 years’ experience facilitating art and cultural experiences in Philadelphia. She expresses her creativity through many mediums such as painting, drawing, public art and ceramics.

Jihan is very passionate about carving out accessible pathways to incorporate creativity in your everyday life. As an artist, Jihan uses her art to serve and uplift her community. Jihan has worked with local Philadelphia arts institutions such as The Clay Studio of Philadelphia, The African American Museum in Philadelphia and The Free Library of Philadelphia and The Barnes Foundation.
