We Will Write the World: Germantown Billboard Celebration

Germantown has a new reading attraction!

Philly’s Literacy-Rich Neighborhoods helped local artists design their community’s billboard and now the art is on exhibit for you to enjoy and share with your family. Join us on Friday, November 19th to meet Germantown’s family of billboard artists, Khaleel, Faruq, and Faysal Adger, and our community’s Reading Captains, too! Food will be provided along with giveaways. All are welcome! We hope to see you there.

This event is one of four celebrating new billboards in Logan, Germantown, South Philly, and Fairhill. All were created by local Philadelphia artists as part of Mural Arts Philadelphia’s new public art project to promote Reading Promises called We Will Write the World.
