Supa Sista Presents: Open Movement Night, Honoring Ursula Rucker


Join Mural Arts Philadelphia as we honor Ursula Rucker, Philadelphia-born poet, mother, activist, recording artist, 2018 Pew Fellow and 2020 Mural Arts’ Wall Ball Artist Honoree.

Register to enjoy an energizing evening of moving performances hand-selected and emceed by Ursula Rucker. This interactive and powerful open mic will be a celebration commemorating Ursula’s inspirational work and Philadelphia legacy. 

Presenting Sharers: 

Naila Francia is a poet, grief coach, death midwife, and ordained interfaith minister. She lives her life with joy as her compass and love as the guiding force in her healing work and ministry.

H Prizm aka High Priest is an American avant-garde artist and composer whose 20 year career spans performance art, pop music, and multimedia projects.

Annielille Gavin is a Filipinx artist who uses dance as a storytelling element for exploring ancestral memories, spiritual journeys, and community-based art centered on decolonize art activism.
