Come celebrate the opening of a public art show: photographs of special and meaningful places taken by residents of the Bartram’s Garden neighborhood. The show highlights the connections between Bartram’s Garden and the rest of the neighborhood, honors black joy and collective memories, and opens up conversations about the changes underway at Bartram’s Garden and Bartram’s Village.
Join the artists at 7:30 p.m. for a dialog about these ideas, their experience creating the photos, and their feelings toward these special places.
The photo show is organized by BARETEETH, the current artists-in-residence at Bartram’s Garden. Learn more about them here.
