Watershed is a new mural from artist Paul Santoleri, in partnership with the Philadelphia Water Department, that blends nature and history to express the role that water plays in creating and sustaining life. Waves and ripples connect Roxborough’s past to the vision of a greener city, and images of native wildlife reveal the animals living in the neighborhood’s two watersheds.
Join us to dedicate Watershed at the opening of Roxborough Pocket Park, a community-driven green space along Ridge Avenue that marks the divide between the Schuylkill and Wissahickon watersheds.
