How do we create our own cultural identities? Students in our Artrepreneurs program have been exploring this question with Philadelphia-based fashion designer Walé Oyéjidé. We’ll gather to dedicate the resulting mural, a colorful, fabric-inspired design on the façade of Lucien E. Blackwell Library celebrating the culture of the African diaspora.
Enjoy coffee and kid-friendly beverages from Saxby’s, and if you missed out on the Berries & Cream Mural Arts Month donut—at Federal Donuts locations across the city through October 11—this event will be your last chance to try them!
