Mural Dedication: Color Me Back

Join us to celebrate a new mural in the Suburban Station concourse! This beautiful floral design brings light and color to the train station, designed by artist Gabe Tiberino with assistance from teaching artist Alvin Tull.

This colorful floral design brings light and energy to the train station, and the process of creating it has connected participants to support services—while compensating them above the city’s minimum wage.

Color Me Back is a 28-week pilot program, drawing on other cities’ successful experiences in offering ‘same day wages’ to help address economic instability. Managed by our Porch Light program, the initiative has been designed in partnership with the Scattergood Foundation, SEPTA, Mental Health Partnerships, and AthenianRazak.

Light refreshments will be provided.
