La Borinqueña

Mural Arts Philadelphia’s Art Education students and ‘La Borinqueña’ creator Edgardo Miranda Rodriguez have teamed up to create a gorgeous mural dedicated to the spirit of nature and the preservation of our planet. It is an image that celebrates the power and heritage of Puerto Rico via women historically on the island and here in the U.S. Please join us Friday, September 23 at 5 PM on the corner of Mascher and Norris to celebrate and dedicate Norris Square’s newest mural!

After the Dedication artists Celso Gonzalez and Edgardo Miranda Rodriguez will have a talk at Las Parcelas (2248 Palethorp St, Philadelphia, PA 19133) from 6:30 PM – 7:30PM. Join Us!
