Gather your family and friends for the opportunity to have your portrait taken by West Philadelphia-based photographer Ken McFarlane (@365ken). Ken joins us as a guest artist during painter Michele Pierson’s portrait-focused artist residency at Neighborhood Time Exchange. As the hub space continues to evolve, we’re expanding our capacity and responding to neighborhood needs by tapping into the wide network of West Philadelphia artists, makers, and community members.

Ken says, “A photo is different than a portrait.” Before the portrait sessions begin, Ken will display his work and give a brief talk to expand on this perspective and his style of portraiture.

Family portrait sessions are limited and will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. The 8×10 prints will be available for each group to pick-up during the October Second Friday event on October 12.
