Expanding Our Roots

On Sunday, March 13 from 11 am-4 pm, The Kensington Storefront will host an exhibit of its work, featuring art exhibits, inspiring stories, and interactive displays. Exhibits will highlight the public art and community-driven programs that occurred between May, 2021 and the present. Exhibit will take place in the gym of The Community Center at Visitation, where the Storefront office is located, 2646 Kensington Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125.

Programs and art created by collaborating community artists John C. Zerbe, Ashley Flynn, Kathryn Pannepacker, Lisa Kelley, Don Stephens, Cory Kram, Tykira Mitchell, and Kristen Snow. The work and service of Fall 2021 Community Curators Brenda Mosley, Jessica Shoffner, Crip Scruggs, Yuliana Cerezo, and Neyda Rios will also be on display.

Come and experience stories of deep resilience, community power, and creative adventure. Learn more about the Kensington Storefront’s values and plans. The gym is well-ventilated, exhibits will be spaced out and masks will be required (and provided for those who do not have them).
