Exhibition Opening: Mural Training Program

Please join us for the opening reception of works created by students in the Mural Training Program. The MTP offers instruction to young artists who are interested in learning how to adapt their studio painting skills to public mural making, and gives these artists new skills to work collaboratively with communities to create public art. The works in this exhibition were created by the students in this year’s class: Nico Bennett, Eric Bussart, Gregory Christie, Chabane Djouder, Marilyn Foehrenbach, Marissa Fu, Ashley Garner, Arthur Haywood, Briana Keyes, Sarah Kolker, Natalie Flor Negrón, Michele Pierson, Hilary Scott, and Yael Tsoran.

The exhibition runs from January 9 through March 1, 2019. Gallery hours at Mural Arts Philadelphia are 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by appointment.
