Maria Möller is a Philadelphia-based artist whose work distills narrative from fact and interprets how story and place can reflect our innermost longings and collective hopes. Rooted in a background in theatre and photography, her practice includes site-specific installations, participatory interventions, community-based events, and intimate, one-on-one experiences. Her work has been shown at galleries in Philadelphia and Colombia – but she has more often exhibited in alternative spaces such as street corners, empty lots, markets, libraries, and motels.
