Krista Dedrick-Lai is a painter and mixed media artist living and working in Philadelphia. Using bold colors, value shifts and a mix of abstraction and representation, she creates personal meditations on injustice, parenthood, personal change and the intensity of being human. Her work has been shown in a number of Philadelphia galleries such as Space 1026, High Five Gallery and Practice Gallery, as well as galleries in New Orleans, New Jersey and Delaware.
