Eleanor Barba

Eleanor Barba is a multi-media artist proudly living and working in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her work focuses on the intersection of domesticity and burden, where she seeks comfort. She uses painting, quilting, comics, and words to strike what is unsaid in relationships and the home bluntly but is often top of mind. Often autobiographical, her work portrays individual feelings but universal experiences. Through this, she pushes ideas of making a just society. She’s recently shown in Vox Populi and Da Vinci Art Alliance in Philadelphia and at the PHL International Airport. Eleanor has been published on NextCity.org and in Stone Fruit Zine.
