Beth Clevenstine

Beth Clevenstine integrates public participation into progressive and collaborative pieces where process is as important as final culmination. Personal stories with intentional and artistic precision are woven into the pieces during both the construction and deconstruction process. A collective story evolves through the cyclical thought patterns of the group while simultaneously coaxing connection within the group.

Beth received her BA from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences and an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. She worked as lead display designer for Anthropologie before leaving to embark her solo path where her public works have grown in scope and stature. She has collaborated on the Fountain Street Project, and Peace Through Imagination located on 4th and Monroe street, among many others.
