Neighbors of Belmont, Mantua, Mill Creek, Saunders Park, and West Powelton: join us for a special jam session and artist talk at the Neighborhood Time Exchange hub space!

Self-described as a composer, pianist, and singer, Margel Overton (@thesophant), a local West Philly music educator, and Hezikiah (@hezekiah3rd) will curate a jam session this month at the Neighborhood Time Exchange. Local musicians are welcome to participate in the jam, which will also highlight professional performers from the region. The community is invited to enjoy the fun, creative, and improvised vibe!

NTX will also welcome the next artist-in-residence, Ken McFarlane, who will kick the night off by sharing a bit about his work. During his residency Ken plans to create a documentary portrait of West Philadelphia that is “a record of our truth, our stories, our histories, our futures.”
