Mural Dedication: Tribute to Marie Dendy

Mural Arts Philadelphia, City Council President Darrell Clarke, and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Commissioner Kathryn Ott Lovell are pleased to dedicate a new mural honoring Marie Dendy, an extraordinary neighborhood leader who devoted her life to improving her community. It is through her hard work that the Dendy Recreation Center was constructed and later renamed in her honor. Please join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of Ms. Dendy with a beautiful mural by local artist Priscilla Bell.
