Imagining Justice

Imagining Justice is a pop-up exhibition and public event in the courtyard of City Hall. Created by our Restorative Practices Youth initiative in collaboration with artist Mark Strandquist and the Juvenile Law Center, the project raises up the voices of youth in the juvenile justice system.

Join us from 4–7 p.m. for the exhibition, and listen to youth testimony about the juvenile justice system from 5–6:30 p.m. Imagining Justice looks to youth affected by the system as the experts that our city needs most, using art, storytelling, and dialogue to educate the public and to advocate for programs and policies to make our communities safe, whole, and just.

Featuring youth from: Juveniles for Justice, UrbEd Advocates, Youth Arts & Self-empowerment Project, The Village of Arts and Humanities, and Restorative Practices Youth classes at Achieving Independence Center, Northeast Treatment Center, VisionQuest In-Home Detention Program, Philadelphia Juvenile Justice Services Center, and St. Gabriel’s Hall.
