Opening Reception: Mural Training Program Exhibition

Please join us for the opening reception of works created by students in the Mural Training Program. The MTP offers instruction to young artists who are interested in learning how to adapt their studio painting skills to public mural making, and gives these artists new skills to work collaboratively with communities to create public art. The works in this exhibition were created by the students in this year’s class: Colin Abrams, Juliannah Francina Harrison, Mon Iker, Aissulu Kadyrzhanova, Carrie Kingsbury, Casey Landerkin, Jacob Lightman, Quinn McNichol, Lily Meier, Jaimee Newman, Jermaine Ollivierre, Kimberlee Traub, Doug Woods, Yagmur Yoruk, and Pedro Zagitt.

The exhibition runs from January 31 through March 16, 2018. Gallery hours at Mural Arts Philadelphia are 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by appointment.
