Opening Reception: Mural Training Program Exhibition

Please join us for the opening reception of works created by students in the Mural Training Program. Light refreshments will be served.

Mural Arts Philadelphia is always looking to expand its pool of professional mural artists and offers a Mural Training Program for artists who are interested in learning how to adapt their studio painting skills to public mural-making. The goal of this training is to teach artists who already have strong painting foundations the skills to work collaboratively with communities to create public art murals.

The works in this exhibition were created by the students in this year’s class: Danielle Cartier, Juan Delgado, Ali Dericotte, Lauren Donnellan, Ashley Fontones, Matt Guiliano, Cornelius Hawes, Ashley Heitzman, Damara Kaminecki, Lorna Leighton, Amir Lyles, Nancy Marcus Newman, Rodney Saunders, Shannon Tomanovich, Angela Vitale.

Exhibition on view: January 13 – February 26, 2016. Gallery hours: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday, or by appointment.
