Impact Veterans Paint Day

Phillip Adams offered art workshops to veterans experiencing housing and job insecurity from the Kensington neighborhood. This engagement led to a mural design. Starting in September, the veterans will be paid to help paint the mural. There will be a community event to engage with the broader community around Veterans Day.

Community paint day at Esperanza Health, in front of where the mural is being installed. Light refreshments and a family-friendly art activity by the Fabric Workshop and Museum will also be offered. This will be an early Veterans Day celebration.
