Ricardo Cabret (b. 1985, Puerto Rico) works mostly through computer science, code, and painting. His interest in binary systems is rooted in nature, considering the building blocks of creation as numbers, lines, and natural elements. Cabret’s process reveals connections between rigid algorithmic systems used to study movement and composition and more personal narratives that surface from the physical act of painting.
