With each panel, we’ll learn how the artists took on this new challenge, what they choose to create, and why painting in the public space is important to them and valuable to our communities. This week were talking to Tykira Mitchell, Tai Corrienté Baucom, Keshida Layone, Corinne Dodenhoff, Nasir Young, and Rushawn Videl-Gevonte Stanley artist from the Mural Art's Festival on September 30th that were hand picked to do live mural making in celebration of Philadelphia-based creatives and encouraging their freedom of expression through open-ended themes. The panel moderators will be Conrad Benner and Darnell Schoolfield who also happen to be the curators of the artist lineup.
