Will you join the conversation? Our next Salon will feature a discussion about Philadelphia’s most pressing health challenges and opportunities, including efforts to address trauma and approaches to navigating a growing opioid crisis. We’ll also discuss the role art can play in building resilience and fostering wellness.

Special guests and experts in the field will contribute to the conversation, including: Dr. Sandra L. Bloom, Associate Professor of Health Management and Policy, Center for Nonviolence and Social Justice at Drexel University Dornsife School for Public Health; Laure Biron, Director of Mural Arts’ Porch Light Program; a representative from the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services; and a Porch Light artist.

This thoughtful, intimate conversation will be hosted by Mural Arts Board member Susan Sherman. Limited to 20 guests, we’ll gather around a shared table over food prepared by Catering by Design.
