Mural Arts Philadelphia and the City of Philadelphia invite you to the dedication of Welcome Back, Philly. Located at Eakins Oval, this 33,000 SF ground mural was created by Mural Arts Philadelphia artist Felix St. Fort and conveys a “new day” concept with a celebratory feel of fireworks over the cityscape and riverfront, depicting the Philadelphia skyline and people reuniting to once again experience things they have missed. Welcome Back, Philly will be completed just before the 4th of July to coincide with the Welcome America fireworks celebration.
