We Will Write the World Exhibition Opening

Calling all young artists! Mural Arts will head to the Please Touch Museum in October for hands-on mural making and mural exhibition of the We Will Write the World public art and early childhood literacy project that proves reading is all around us and inspires adult-child reading interactions.  

On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, Please Touch Museum will open its We Will Write the World mural exhibition next to its Creative Arts Studio from 4 – 7 pm with a special $2 Museum admission. Visitors will have the chance to see new murals coming to Philadelphia neighborhoods, as well as the artwork of young artists who inspired the mural designs. The exhibition at the Please Touch Museum will feature murals from South Philadelphia, Logan, Fairhill, and Germantown with artists including Manuela Guillén, De’von Downes, Rebecca Miller, Andre Chaney, Jihan A. Thomas, and Daphne Smallwood.
