Join Mural Arts’ Advisory Council, a group of young professional advocates, for an evening of family-friendly virtual artmaking on Wednesday, May 26 from 7-8pm!
Using items you already have at home–all you’ll need is a pen or pencil and paper, plus some coloring implements if you’d like–Teaching Artist Al Tull will guide participants through a series of art activities, including making your own personal name tag (as seen above), while discussing the Color Me Back program’s vital work.
Color Me Back is a unique initiative that offers individuals facing economic and housing insecurity the chance to work on creative artistic projects in exchange for wages, while granting access to a variety of social services. The Advisory Council has chosen to raise funds for this program throughout the current fiscal year.

For a donation of any size to this Virtual Artmaking experience, participants will receive a Porch Light Wellness Kit, a unique coloring book-style tool that the program’s team has used with constituents throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s the perfect accompaniment to Al’s drawing instruction, and an excellent addition to your home’s activity collection. If you have any questions please reach out to Individual Giving Manager Joe Ehrman-Dupre at joe.ehrman-dupre@muralarts.org
