Cookies
- 5 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 5 Cups Semolina Flour
- 1.25 m Mahleb (Aromatic)
- 3 Cups Ghee (or Butter)
- ⅓ Cup Oil
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Cups Milk
Filling
- 1 Pack (17.6 oz) Pitted, Pressed Dates or Crushed Pistachios
- Syrup (see below)
Syrup
- 4 Cups Sugar (Water to Cover)
- Pinch of Citric Acid or Lemon Juice
