Salsa Shines Through Dance Party/ Mural Dedication

Salsa Shines Through is an interactive mural project that celebrates salsa dancing in Philadelphia as a form of self-care during the pandemic. Oil painter, salsa instructor, and international performer Andres Giraldo designed the mural using screenshots of videos that salsa dancers sent to @salsa_shines_through Instagram. He collaborated with Philadelphia muralists Nathaniel Lee and Donna G. Kroh to paint the mural. This new mural will be located at 1409 Howard Street (between Master and Jefferson). This project was curated and managed by Philip Asbury.
