Join us as we celebrate the dedication of this soon-to-be iconic skateboard mural on Saturday, June 3, from 1-3 pm at Nocturnal Skate Shop, 6th and Kater Streets! Muralist Jim Houser recalls his first encounter with iconic skateboarder Roger Browne, who was one of the pioneers of street skating in Philadelphia, and how he inspired him and his friends to try and replicate his moves. Jim later had the opportunity to honor Roger through a mural commissioned by Nocturnal Skate Shop. The mural celebrates Roger’s contribution to street skating in Philadelphia and serves as a thank you to him.
