Porch Light Van Dedication

Mural Arts Philadelphia will be celebrating recent public art projects and community programming in the Kensington community and unveiling the design for a new Kensington Storefront van. The Ford Transit cargo van was a generous gift from the Snider Foundation and Anderson Family Foundation to Mural Arts. It will support the arts, culture, and wellness programming in the Kensington community. Four local artists submitted designs, and the winning artist team — J.C. Zerbe and Jose “Busta” Bustamante — was selected with input from the community. Mural Arts will also celebrate artists that have brought public art pieces and murals to the community and celebrate a new space that will be used for Color Me Back, a same-day work program. Mural Arts’ Environmental Justice program will also welcome Die, Dumping, Die!, a collective from Fairhill and Kensington neighborhoods that promote a clean, caring, and connected community.
