In rapidly changing communities, it is critical that residents recognize the power in creating and sharing their own narratives. In the upcoming 4-Week Workshop (every Sunday in May), Neighborhood Time Exchange’s Photographer-in-Residence, Ken McFarlane is challenging community members to use a camera to document themselves-the individual behind the lens, and their family and community in front of the lends.
This production-based workshop will cover history & framing, lighting, and composition techniques. Participants should be prepared to bring project ideas ready for completion to be showcased in a closing exhibit.
Ages: 12-72
