PEACE IS GOLD, AND THE SONG I WISH TO HEAR / Believe

These murals culminate a two-year partnership between Mural Arts Philadelphia and Horizon House Therapeutic Susquehanna Park, a residential rehabilitation program for men recovering from substance use. Led by artist James Burns, the project highlights the voices of Horizon House’s community, expressing a variety of their interests, hopes, and aspirations. Among such is a call for communal support during recovery, and a desire to practice resiliency, growth and transformation. This project is supported by the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services.
