Paint Day: Daniel Sweeney Mural

Mural Arts Philadelphia has partnered with the Fox Chase community to create a mural honoring firefighter Daniel Sweeney, who died in the line of duty in 2012. On Sept. 9, the Fox Chase Rec Center will host a family-friendly paint day to give the community a chance to help create the mural. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided, and other art activities will be available.
