For 35 years, Mural Arts has united artists and communities, through collaborative processes, to transform individual lives and public spaces. It has been an essential resource for reaching some of Philadelphia’s most vulnerable communities. What is the role of the arts in helping the City and its residents respond to the pandemic, and how is Mural Arts redeploying its resources?

Join us for our second muraLAB: Art in Action webinar, “Rapid Response”.  In the first discussion, Mural Arts’ Executive Director, Jane Golden, Joanna Otero Cruz from MDO, Mica Root from the Department of Public Health, and artist Nilé Livingston gather to explore ways public art has been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

The Mural Arts Institute is supported by The JPB Foundation, The Kresge Foundation, and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
