Mural Dedication: Room for Growth

Come celebrate the rebirth of the Conestoga Recreation Center. Members of the community, city officials, students of the Mastery Charter School and the Mural Arts Environmental Justice Initiative have worked tirelessly over the past three years to carefully restore and preserve the history of this local space. Using native plants and weeds as inspiration, the art stretching across the rec center includes three new murals, brand new benches carved out of old trees and oversized stones, new play equipment, and many more nature-themed art pieces.

During the afternoon celebration, view the new art, enjoy a performance from the Conestoga Angels Drill Team, and snack on light refreshments. The dedication is free and open to the public.
