A monumental project deserves a monumental performance, and Philadelphia’s poetry scene does not disappoint. Local writers Yolanda Wisher, Lillian Dunn, Raquel Salas Rivera, and Nicole Steinberg have selected a host of Philadelphia-based poets for this one-night-only monument in verse, hosted by Mike Days of the Philadelphia Media Network. Before the event, visit Emeka Ogboh’s Logan Squared sound installation, on view this night from 4–9 p.m. on the Skyline Terrace at the Parkway Central Library. Grab drinks before, during, and after the reading with Parks on Tap, open in Shakespeare Park from 5–9 p.m.
