Artists Sharon Hayes and Alexander Rosenberg have spent the last year mining Rittenhouse Square’s archival fragments, historical milestones, and cultural landmarks, including many often left out of the popular gaze and narratives of the area. Rittenhouse Square, a site of critical inquiry and cultural intrigue for Monument Lab, is one of Philadelphia’s vital public squares. The Philadelphia Art Alliance is an important part of this civic space, and we invite you to a special meet-and-greet event around these projects within this historic building. Hear short gallery talks from the artists, and enjoy light refreshments.
