George Floyd (Never Forgotten) Mural Dedication

Mural Arts Philadelphia partnered with the North 5th Street Revitalization Project to recreate a mural in tribute to George Floyd on the exterior sidewall of Tang Pharmacy. The original mural commissioned by the North 5th Street Revitalization Project was painted on an abandoned newsstand that was later defaced with white nationalist graffiti. This new mural, designed by local artist Randall Whitfield and completed with assistance from Briana Dawkins, was directly painted onto the 110 feet long by 10 feet high wall.
