Flight Dedication

Join us to celebrate a momentous new mural series titled Flight, by artist Tatyana Fazlalizadeh. Flight pictures what it would be like for Black people to rise off the ground into the sky, imagining “flying” as a metaphor for liberation, escape, and transformation. In celebration of this new mural, Mural Arts is hosting a block party with poetry readings and music by local artists, and delicious food. Find this creative, joy-filled event at the foot of the largest mural in the Flight series in Center City.
