“The Fall of America” and “Ain’t I A Woman” Film Screening and Conversation with artist Mary Baxter

Mary Enoch Elizabeth Baxter tells the stories of incarcerated mothers and mothers-to-be in her film Ain’t I A Woman, and explores COVID-19 and interrogates the ways in which racism and white supremacy remain some of the world’s most deadly diseases in The Fall of America. Join us for a screening of these films and discussion with Baxter and Maori Karmael Holmes, Artistic Director and CEO of BlackStar.
