Environmental Justice at the Mifflin Square Park Neighborhood Convening

Over the last few months, Mifflin Square residents have come together to discuss how to make Mifflin Square Park better. This Neighborhood Convening, hosted by the Southeast Asian Mutual Assistance Association Coalition (SEAMAAC), will bring together these ideas and more to help set the direction for the neighborhood and park plan.

Our Environmental Justice initiative will be part of this event, with both Trash Academy and Park Powers. We’ll have a bin giveaway through Trash Academy, and Park Powers will be on display in Mifflin Square, with students present to talk about it. We’ll also have posters and large-scale models created by our Community Design Leaders, and a poster contest that everyone can participate in. New picnic table designs will be on display for the neighborhood to vote on, to be built for Mifflin Square.

This event is free, but you are encouraged to RSVP through Eventbrite.
