Logan Squared: Ode to Philly by Emeka Ogboh atop the Skyline Terrace of the Parkway Central Library. Photo by Steve Weinik.
Starting September 24, Emeka Ogboh’s Logan Squared sound installation will be on view on Sundays from 2–4:30 p.m. at the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Parkway Central location. Part of the citywide Monument Lab exhibition, Logan Squared is a monument to sound and collective memory, dedicated to voices of the people. Ogboh’s work incorporates poetry and music, braiding sounds together for an immersive experience. Logan Squared will also be open on Wednesday, September 27 from 4–9 p.m., for a poetry event at Logan Square. FREE.
In the event of rain or a high likelihood of rain in the forecast on Sundays, this project will not be installed. We hope you’ll be able to view on another Sunday between now and November 19th. Thank you!
