DNC Paint Day at City Hall

On Wednesday, July 27, Mural Arts will host a gigantic paint day on the north side of City Hall. Delegates, families, and visitors alike will have the chance to help paint a new mural that pays tribute to Philadelphia’s hometown professional basketball team, the 76ers. The mural is designed by artist Ernel Martinez and inspired by Philadelphia student Brandon Dougherty, the winner of the recent 76ers Mural Contest. This event is free and open to the public, and everyone from novice painters to professional artists are invited to attend and contribute to an upcoming public artwork that celebrates a legendary Philadelphia sports team.
