Wall Ball 2017, Over and Out

by: Laura Kochman

We can hardly believe it’s over, but last week’s Wall Ball was such a blast—we’re already looking forward to celebrating again with you next year. We were blown away by your generosity, your excitement for our mission, and your dancing skills. Philadelphia is truly a creative force to be reckoned with.

We honored Michael Forman of FS Investments, Pedro Ramos of The Philadelphia Foundation, and artist Rashid Johnson, and we heard from our own Jane Golden and Mayor Kenney. Stilt walkers and jugglers roamed through the crowd as we heard Art Ed student Ailisha’s story, a wonderful example of the impact that art can have on the youth of Philadelphia.

Hear from Ailisha Goodwin-Dancy, our Rising Senior Awardee & Art Education student. A brilliant young lady who has grown personally and artistically. We cannot wait to see what she does next! #WallBall2017Donate, here:http://buff.ly/2spLmbg
