Philadelphia Soccer 2026 Digital Mosaic

by: Ilse García Romero

Mural Arts Philadelphia, in partnership with Philadelphia Soccer 2026, the city’s official FIFA World Cup 2026™ bid committee, has launched an interactive digital mosaic to engage supporters and provide Philadelphians with the opportunity to join this historic movement to bring the World Cup to Philadelphia. The mosaic, entitled Love of the Game, is a tribute to our City’s continued dedication to hosting matches for FIFA World Cup 2026™.

The digital mural was designed by artist Nilé Livingston and commissioned especially for Philadelphia Soccer 2026. Portraying two young soccer players enjoying the “beautiful game,” this mural captures the vibrancy, agility, focus, and wonder of soccer, while also showcasing how the international sport reflects Philadelphia’s rich culture and diverse communities. Everyone is encouraged to participate in this incredible mural by adding their photo and showing their own “Love of the Game.”

To participate, Philadelphians are encouraged to submit photos of themselves at Philadelphia2026.com from now until February 28, 2022. The photos are then reviewed and, if approved, added to the mosaic so that anyone can be part of this innovative artwork. If Philadelphia is selected as one of the host cities for the World Cup, the design will be painted and installed.

So, what are you waiting for? Submit your photo today and become a part of our city’s history.
